I recently just bought Koss Porta Pro for 20 USD in Amazon Prime day. I read and watched many reviews that there is a screw part of the headphones that allows you to attach a mic. I have searched many websites and forums only to find out that it is true but no one has listed compatible microphones to be attached on the headset.

The deadly value proposition of great sound quality and a ridiculously affordable price ($49 wired; $79 wireless) had elevated the Porta Pro into rarefied air. It isn’t the most detailed and revealing, or the most appropriate for bassheads. It doesn’t have the best soundstage or resolution.
Glad it's not just me. Quick update, the yaxi pads arrived and they do make an improvement. They're still noticeably more bassy than the 30i, there's a slight reduction but the bass/mid balance doesn't seem significantly altered (which lines up with oratory's yaxi'd porta pro graphs).
